Mayor Clark called the Public Hearing Meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People. He confirmed attendance via teleconference.

Report of the City Clerk:

"At the February 24 , 2020 Public Hearing meeting, City Council considered the above matter, and resolved, in part, that the matter be deferred to the April Public Hearing meeting of City Council; and that the Administration report back about possible ways to achieve regulation of short-term accommodations in all zoning districts (including data collection, monitoring of clustering, etc.) through a business licensing model as an alternative to a discretionary use model. The public hearing with respect to Bylaws No. 9683 and No. 9684 was closed.

At the April 27, 2020 Public Hearing meeting, the Administration provided Information Report “Additional Information – Proposed Regulations for Short Term Accommodations”. City Council resolved that consideration of the submitted report from the Administration, with respect to additional information on short term accommodations, along with further consideration of Bylaws Nos. 9683 and 9684 be deferred to the August 31, 2020 Public Hearing meeting of City Council."
