Paula Kotasek-Toth, Senior Planner, Community Services Division, reviewed the proposed amendments to the Zoning Bylaw with a PowerPoint and expressed the Division's support.
 
Joshua Delainey, Chair, Municipal Planning Commission, expressed the Commission's support for proposed amendments.
 
A revised Bylaw No. 9833 was provided. Administration advised the minor revision to the bylaw did not affect the intent of the bylaw nor the advertising that had occurred.

Lesley Anderson, Director of Planning and Development, Community Services Division, reviewed the official community plan amendments and expressed the Division's support. Administration confirmed RM of Corman Park and City of Martensville have passed the proposed amendments. City of Warman and Town of Osler will be considering the matter at their next council meetings.

A report of the Chief Financial Officer, dated July 25, 2022 was provided along with a notice that appealed in the local press on July 16 and 18, 2022 and a request to speak from Pat Tymchatyn, Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Saskatoon, dated July 24, 2022.

Mayor Clark introduced the matter.  A motion putting forward the recommendation was made.

Chief Financial Officer Hack presented the report.

That the City of Saskatoon enter into a temporary Lease with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Saskatoon Branch Inc., for approximately 5,500 square feet of building space at 321 Avenue C North for the purpose of providing temporary storage of furniture and other household goods that would be distributed to displaced Ukrainian, based on the terms outlined in the July 25, 2022 report of the Chief Financial Officer; and
    2. That the City Solicitor be requested to prepare the appropriate agreements and that His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the agreements under the Corporate Seal.
