The Chair will call the Public Hearing meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People and confirm roll call.

6.1.1

Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw Review - Amendment Package Seven - Supplemental Report [MPC2023-0804]

The following documents are provided:

• Proposed Bylaw No. 9925;
• Supplemental Report of the Community Services Division dated August 29, 2023;
• Notice that was published in the Star Phoenix on November 4 and 6, 2023.

Reports from the Community Services Division and the Municipal Planning Commission considered at the September 27, 2023 Public Hearing Meeting of Council can be found here.

• Recommendation

  That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9925.

6.1.2

Discretionary Use Application – Parking Station – 301 Queen Street [MPC2023-1001]

The following documents are provided:

• Report of the Community Services Division, dated October 31, 2023; and
• Report of the Municipal Planning Commission, dated November 22, 2023.

The City Planner has advised that notice has been sent to all adjacent landowners within 150 metres of the site.

• Recommendation

  That the Discretionary Use Application, submitted by Bastion Holdings Ltd., requesting approval to develop a Parking Station at 301 Queen Street, be approved, subject to the following conditions:

  1. The applicant obtains a Development Permit and all other relevant permits and licences, including a Building Permit; and
  2. The final plans submitted be substantially in accordance with the plans submitted in support of this Discretionary Use Application.

Rezoning – Hampton Village Business Park – From FUD to B2 [CC2023-1101]

6.2.1

Optimist Hill – Saskatoon Freestyle Sublease [PDCS2023-1103]

The following documents are provided:

• Report of the Standing Policy Committee on Planning, Development and Community Services, dated November 22, 2023;
• Report of the Community Services Division, dated November 2, 2023; and
• Notice that appeared in the Star Phoenix on November 18, 2023.

• Recommendation
  1. That approval be given to permit the OSP Community Development Corp. to enter into a sublease with the Optimist Freestyle Ski Team Inc. for use of a portion of Optimist Hill; and
  2. That the Office of the City Solicitor prepare the requisite consent to sublease and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City of Saskatoon.
