    ​That the agenda be confirmed as presented.

    ​That the minutes of the Regular Business Meeting of City Council held on June 28, 2021, be adopted.

  • Recommendation

    ​That the Committee recommendation contained in Item 8.5.1 to be adopted.

  • Recommendation
    1. That the scattering of cremated remains into the South Saskatchewan River, as outlined in the report of the General Manager, Community Services Division dated July 19, 2021, be permitted;
    2. That the Community Services Division be requested to draft guidelines respecting the scattering of cremated remains into the river; and
    3. That work continue respecting the possibility of identifying and constructing a permanent, dedicated location for the scattering of cremated remains.
  • Recommendation
    1. That the Servicing Agreement with BDM Enterprises Ltd. within the Brighton neighbourhood covering a portion of the North ½ Section 30 - Township 36 - Range 4 – W. of the 3rd Meridian be approved; and
    2. That His Worship, the Mayor, and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the Servicing Agreement under the corporate seal.
  • Recommendation

    The proposed changes set out in the Exempt Staff Salary and Benefit Agreement

    1. With respect to the 2020-2022 period be approved; and
    2. That His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the revised agreement under the Corporate Seal.
  • Recommendation
    1. That the proposed changes set out in the revision to the 2019 – 2023 Collective Agreement with Saskatoon Civic Middle Management Association, Local No. 222 be approved; and
    2. That His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the revised contract under the Corporate Seal.
  • Recommendation

    1. That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9769, The Capital Reserve Amendment Bylaw, 2021.

    2. That City Council instruct the City Clerk to make the necessary amendments to Council Policy C03-003, the Reserves for Future Expenditures policy.

A letter dated July 21, 2021 from the Board of Police Commissioners is provided.

    That the City Solicitor be instructed to prepare the appropriate amendment bylaw.
