The Chair called the meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis people.

    1. That the letter from the Saskatoon Environmental Advisory Committee - Development of the Swale, dated May 29, 2019 and accompanying file be added to Item 7.1.2.;
    2. That the letter from Dorothy Van't Hof dated June 6, 2019, requesting to speak be added to Item 7.1.5;
    3. That items with speakers be heard first following consideration of Unfinished Business; and
    4. That the agenda be confirmed as amended.

The following proposed budget was submitted for consideration for inclusion in the 2020 Business Plan and Budget:

The Administration undertook to attend an upcoming meeting of the Saskatoon Accessibility Advisory Committee to communicate that a new document will be created when resources are available, with a report anticipated by the end of the year.

Ms. Dorothy Van't Hof spoke regarding the high traffic volumes, speed, and noise on Glasgow Street and requested a timeline be set for placement of speed humps.

That the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation recommend to City Council that the City Solicitor be requested to amend Bylaw No. 9070, The Taxi Bylaw, 2014, to award temporary wheelchair accessible taxi licenses to individual drivers through a sole source contract, as outlined in the report of the General Manager, Community Services Department dated June 10, 2019; and
    2. That the item be referred to the June 14, 2019 meeting of the Saskatoon Accessibility Advisory Committee for feedback to City Council and that a presentation from the Administration be made available to the Committee.
