The City Planner advised that notification posters had been sent to all adjacent landowners within 75 metres of the site.

Mayor Clark introduced the matter and a motion to consider the recommendation was put forward.

Darryl Dawson, Development Review Section Manager, Community Services Department, reviewed the Discretionary Use Application and expressed the Department's support. A site plan was displayed.

Diane Bentley, Chair, Municipal Planning Commission, indicated there were some concerns regarding safety and parking at the location but subsequently supported the Discretionary Use. 

Due to the response to COVID-19, there was no attendance by members of the public and therefore no speakers from the gallery.  There were no submissions requesting to speak.

Darryl Dawson, Development Review Section Manager, Community Services Department, reviewed the proposed Concept Plan amendment and expressed the Department's support. He noted that item 6.1.5 is the associated rezoning and displayed a site plan.
 
Mayor Clark indicated that Councillor Kirton excused himself from the meeting.
 
Diane Bentley, Chair, Municipal Planning Commission, expressed the Commission's support of the proposed Concept Plan amendment indicating that the Commission considered this matter along with the rezoning in 6.1.5.

Darryl Dawson, Development Review Section Manager, Community Services Department, reviewed the proposed Rezoning and expressed the Department's support.  He noted this matter was accompanied by the Concept Plan amendment in 6.1.4. 
 
Diane, Chair, Municipal Planning Commission, expressed the Commission's support of the rezoning during consideration of item 6.1.4.
