  • Recommendation

    That a copy of the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division be submitted to City Council recommending that, at the time of Public Hearing, City Council consider Administration’s recommendations that the proposed amendments to Bylaw No. 9700, The Official Community Plan Bylaw, 2020, Land Use Map, and Bylaw No. 8770, Zoning Bylaw, 2009, to rezone subject sites associated with the South Caswell Redevelopment Project, as outlined in the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division, be approved.

A report of the Community Services Division is provided along with a letter from Chris Guyda and Murray Totland, Arbutus Meadows Partnership, dated June 20, 2024 to address questions.

  • Recommendation

    That a copy of the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division be submitted to City Council recommending that, at the time of Public Hearing, City Council consider Administration’s recommendation that the proposed amendments to Bylaw No. 9700, the Official Community Plan Bylaw, 2020, Land Use Map, the Rosewood Neighbourhood Concept Plan and rezoning of lands located west of Zimmerman Road and north of Rosewood Boulevard East, as outlined in the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division, be approved.

  • Recommendation

    That a copy of the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division be submitted to City Council recommending that, at the time of the Public Hearing, City Council consider Administration’s recommendation that proposed amendments to the Brighton Neighbourhood Concept Plan and Bylaw No. 8770, Zoning Bylaw, 2009, to rezone lands in the Brighton Neighbourhood from FUD and FUD(H) to RMTN, as outlined in the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division, be approved.

    That a copy of the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division be submitted to City Council recommending that, at the time of the Public Hearing, City Council consider Administration’s recommendation that the proposed amendments to Bylaw No. 8770, Zoning Bylaw, 2009, to remove minimum parking requirements, as outlined in the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division, be approved.

    That a copy of the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division be submitted to City Council recommending that, at the time of the Public Hearing, City Council consider Administration’s recommendation that the proposed amendments to Bylaw No. 9700, The Official Community Plan, 2020, and Bylaw No. 8770, Zoning Bylaw, 2009, as outlined in the June 25, 2024 report of the Community Services Division, be approved.

This is a standing item on the agenda to provide an opportunity for the Chair to provide a verbal update on their activities since the last meeting.

    That the information be received.

With the departure of the current vice-chair, the Commission should consider electing a new vice-chair.

    That the Municipal Planning Commission elect a vice-chair.
