His Worship the Mayor took roll call and called the meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People.

There were no declarations of conflict of interest.

A report of the Standing Policy Committee on Finance and referenced report from the Administration requested by Committee with respect to the intended scope of the project was provided.

Councillor Iwanchuk, Chair of the Standing Policy Committee on Finance presented the Committee's report.

Councillor Davies entered the meeting via teleconference at 9:05 a.m.

General Manager, Community Services Lacroix presented the administrative report in the intended scope of the project.  

Saskatoon Tribal Chief Mark Arcand and Honourable Paul Merriman, Minister of Social Services, provided comments in support of the project and responded to questions.

    That City Council approve $100,000 allocation from the MEEP Reallocation contingency to the Interagency Response to Downtown Safety and Well-Being Sawēyihtotān Pilot Project, subject to the Provincial Government providing a matching allocation.
