The Chair called the Public Hearing Meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People and confirmed roll call.

Mayor Clark introduced the matter.  A motion putting forward the recommendation was made and a motion to consider first reading of Bylaw No. 9877 was passed.

Director of Transportation Magus reviewed the report with a PowerPoint and responded to questions of Council.

    • That channelization be installed on Main Street to prohibit the eastbound and westbound through and left turn movements at Clarence Avenue.
    • That the channelization include a bicycle signal on Main Street.
    • That the existing pedestrian-actuated signal be modified to allow pedestrians to cross the south side of Clarence Avenue.
