    That the agenda be approved as presented.

  • Recommendation

    That the minutes of the Public Hearing meetings of City Council held on the following dates be approved:

    • February  28, 2022; and
    • April 25, 2022.

  • Report of the General Manager, Community Services, dated March 29, 2022;
  • Addendum Report - Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw Review – Neighbourhood Level Infill Development Amendment Package – Side Wall Area Calculation, dated May 24, 2022;
  • Letter from the Municipal Planning Commission, dated April 6, 2022;
  • Notice that appeared in the local press on May 7 to 9, 2022; and
  • Letter from Doug Schmidt, CADvantage Design Ltd., dated May 18, 2022.

    That City Council consider Bylaws 9818 and 9823.

    That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9825.

Consideration of this matter is deferred to the June 27, 2022 Public Hearing meeting as the City is required to provide revised notification to property owners and on-site poster.

  • Recommendation
    1. That the City enter into a funding agreement with the Rotary Club of Saskatoon for their commitment of $40,000 towards the Victoria Park Recreation Facility;
    2. That the City enter into a lease agreement with the Core Community Collective Saskatoon to operate the new Victoria Park Recreation Facility and the adjacent open space in Victoria Park; and
    3. That the City Solicitor be requested to prepare the appropriate agreements and that His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the agreements under the Corporate Seal.

A report of the General Manager, Transportation and Construction, dated May 24, 2022 is provided along with Bylaw No. 9822 and notice that appeared in the local press on May 7 and 9, 2022.

  • Recommendation
    1. That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9822, The Street Closing Bylaw, 2022;
    2. That after closure, the former right-of-way be exchanged for a portion of a parcel owned by Dirt II Properties Ltd.; and
    3. That all costs associated with closure be paid for by the City of Saskatoon, including Solicitor’s fees and disbursements.

A report of the General Manager, Transportation and Construction, dated May 24, 2022 is provided along with Bylaw No. 9824, notice that appeared in the local press on May 7 and 9, 2022 and letter from Sharon Lingel, dated May 8, 2022.

  • Recommendation
    1. That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9824, The Street Closing Bylaw, 2022 (No. 2);
    2. That after closure the former right-of-way be used in the development of the City’s outdoor festival site; and
    3. That all costs associated with closure be paid for by the City of Saskatoon, including Solicitor’s fees and disbursements.

A list of flag raising and proclamation requests received for the month of April 2022 is provided.
