The Chair will call the Public Hearing meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People and confirm roll call.

6.1

Land Use, etc.

6.1.1

Discretionary Use Application – Private School – 38 23rd Street East [MPC2024-0201]

The following documents are provided:

• Report of the Community Services Division, dated February 27, 2024; and
• Report from the Municipal Planning Commission, dated March 27, 2024.

The City Planner has advised that notification posters have been sent to all adjacent landowners within 150 metres of the site.

• Recommendation

  That the Discretionary Use Application, submitted by Andrea Calow, requesting approval to operate a Private School that includes studio space at 38 23^rd Street East (unit 205A Pacific Avenue), be approved, subject to the following conditions:

  1. The applicant obtains a Development Permit and all other relevant permits and licences including a Building Permit; and
  2. The final plans submitted be substantially in accordance with the plans submitted in support of this Discretionary Use Application.

Saskatoon North Partnership for Growth District Official Community Plan Land Use Map Amendment Application- Viking Land Corp.- Pt. NW 10-37-4-W3 [CC2024-0301]

The following documents are provided:

• Proposed Bylaw Nos. 9964 and 9965;
• Report of the Community Services Division, dated March 27, 2024; and
• Notices that appeared in the Star Phoenix on March 9, 11, 16 and 18, 2024.
