The Chair will call the Public Hearing meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People and confirm roll call.

  That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9955.

Public Notice Matters

6.2.1

Proposed Closure of Right-of-Way – Portion of Lane 1900 Block 20th Street West and 200 Block Avenue S South – Pleasant Hill Neighbourhood [CC2024-0103]

A report of the Transportation and Construction Division, dated January 31, 2024, is provided, along with proposed Bylaw No. 9956 and notice that appeared in the Star Phoenix on January 13 and 15, 2024.

• Recommendation
  1. That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9956 - The Street Closing Bylaw, 2024;
  2. That after closure, the former right-of-way be sold to the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement for $29,840.00 + GST;
  3. That all costs associated with closure be paid by the applicant, including Solicitor’s fees and disbursements.

The Procedures and Committees Amendment Bylaw, 2024 [CC2023-1108]
