Mayor Clark called the meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People and confirmed attendance via teleconference.

City Manager Jorgenson provided an overview of the need for the Special Meeting.

General Manager, Transportation and Construction reviewed the report and responded to questions of Council along with Director of Saskatoon Transit McDonald.

    That City Council approve a modified Option 1 by increasing bus capacity as barrier installation and other modifications outlined in the report make it possible, and by re-introducing fares on June 15th, 2020.

    That City Council approve Option 1 as part of a phased approach to provide additional capacity on buses to align with anticipated increased ridership associated with the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan.
