CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Clark called the meeting to order on Treaty 6 Territory and the Traditional Homeland of the Métis People. He confirmed attendance via teleconference and reviewed guidelines for participating in Council meetings via Teams.

2020 Local Government Elections – Mail-in Ballot Procedure (CK 265-2020-6)

An approval report of the City Solicitor was provided.

A/City Solicitor Bogad presented the report and together with City Clerk Sproule responded to questions of Council.

  ​That permission be granted to introduce Bylaw No. 9717, The Election Amendment Bylaw, 2020, and give same its FIRST reading.

2020 Local Government Election – Polling Location Status (CK 265-2020-6)

An information report of the City Clerk was provided.

Returning Officer Bastian presented the report noting there were revisions to appendix 2 since release of the agenda and a new appendix was provided.  He responded to questions of Council.
