Mike Jordan, Chief Public Policy and Government Relations Officer for the City of Saskatoon, welcomed everyone in attendance via teleconference at 1:30 p.m. on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis People.

He spoke to his role as Chair, and outlined the process for the joint meeting.

Each of the five partner municipalities gave first reading of The Saskatoon North Partnership for Growth Planning District Bylaw, 2020 as follows:

  • Town of Osler - September 9, 2020
  • City of Saskatoon - August 31, 2020
  • City of Warman - September 14, 2020

A report with respect to the proposed P4G Planning District Agreement was provided.  P4G Director Sarnecki presented the report.

A report with respect to the proposed P4G District Official Community Plan was provided, along with the following letters:

P4G Director Sarnecki presented the report with a complementary PowerPoint presentation. 

A motion by RM of Corman Park Councillor Trask to open the hearing was passed.

Chief Cadmus Delorme, Cowesses First Nation, was in attendance via teleconference to address the Councils regarding ensuring rights are respected and importance of economic development is upheld.
