City Council, at its Regular Business Meeting held on September 30, 2019 made the following appointments for 2020:

 

Standing Policy Committee on Transportation

  • Councillor C. Block

  • Councillor Z. Jeffries

The Committee is requested to appoint a Chair and Vice Chair for 2020.

Councillor Jeffries was appointed Chair for 2019 and Councillor Dubois was appointed Vice Chair for 2019.

Councillor Gersher provided the following Notice of Motion at the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation held on December 2, 2019.

"That Administration report on the process for introducing or expanding transit within new and developing neighbourhoods.  Information for inclusion includes the process of bringing in service to a neighbourhood, the mechanism for funding established service levels and the information provided to residents on the expectation for establishing service."
