  • Recommendation

    That the agenda be approved as presented.

  • Recommendation

    That the minutes of the Public Hearing meeting of City Council held on June 27, 2022 be approved.

The following documents are provided:

  • Letter from the Municipal Planning Commission, dated July 19, 2022.

The City Planner has advised that notification posters have been sent to all adjacent landowners within 75 metres of the site.

  • Recommendation

    That the Discretionary Use Application submitted by North Ridge Development Corporation, requesting approval to develop a Residential Care Home -Type II, for up to a maximum of 15 residents at any one time, at 102 McArthur Lane, be approved subject to the following conditions:

    1. The final plans submitted be substantially in accordance with the plans submitted in support of this Discretionary Use Application and conform with the development standards as described under Bylaw No. 8770, Zoning Bylaw, 2009, (Zoning Bylaw); and
    2. The applicant obtain a Development Permit and all other relevant permits and licenses including a Building Permit.

  • Recommendation

    That proposed amendments to the Rosewood Neighbourhood Concept Plan as outlined in the June 28, 2022 report of the General Manager, Community Services, be approved.

    That City Council consider Bylaw No. 9833.

A report of the Chief Financial Officer, dated July 25, 2022 is provided along with a notice that appealed in the local press on July 16 and 18, 2022.

  • Recommendation
    1. That the City of Saskatoon enter into a temporary Lease with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Saskatoon Branch Inc., for approximately 5,500 square feet of building space at 321 Avenue C North for the purpose of providing temporary storage of furniture and other household goods that would be distributed to displaced Ukrainian, based on the terms outlined in the July 25, 2022 report of the Chief Financial Officer; and
    2. That the City Solicitor be requested to prepare the appropriate agreements and that His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the agreements under the Corporate Seal.
