Chief Cooper spoke to the following and responded to questions of the Board:

  • Press release, dated May 12, 2022 regarding two SPS officers facing charges. Court date was scheduled for May 18, 2022 at Saskatoon Provincial Court;
  • National Police Week - May 15 to 21, 2022;
  • Canada Road Safety Week - May 17 to 23, 2022;
  • SPS Exemplary Service Awards - May 5, 2022;
  • Saskatchewan Women in Policy - May 12 to 13, 2022;
  • Update on body worn camera project;
  • Online crime reporting webpage development; and
  • Conclusion of Saskatchewan Police College with nine candidates joining SPS.
