    That the minutes of regular meeting of the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation held on February 13, 2018 be adopted.

A letter dated January 31, 2018 from the Saskatoon Accessibility Advisory Committee, along with the referenced letter from Mr. Randy Pshebylo, Riversdale Business Improvement District is provided.

The Standing Policy Committee on Finance, at its meeting held on February 12, 2018, considered the communication and resolved that the matter be referred to the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation.

    That the direction of Committee issue.

The attached report of the Saskatoon Police Service was considered by the Board of Police Commissioners at its meeting held on February 15, 2018.  The Board resolved to receive the report as information and also to refer the report to the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation for its review.

  • Recommendation

    That the 2017 Annual Report of the Traffic Safety Committee be received as information and forwarded to City Council for information.

    That the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation recommend to City Council:

    That Phase 2 of the Rail Relocation versus Grade Separation Feasibility Study proceed with a modified scope as outlined in the report of the General Manager, Transportation & Utilities Department dated March 12, 2018.

    That the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation recommend to City Council:

    That the proposed Decorative Crosswalks Policy be approved.

  • Recommendation

    That the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation recommend to City Council:

    1. That the City enter into an agreement with Trapeze Software ULC for the installation of required configurations to the Trapeze OPS Payroll Module for a total cost of $94,184 (including applicable taxes); and
    2. That Purchasing Services issue the appropriate purchase order.
  • Recommendation

    That the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation recommend to City Council:

    1. That the Administration prepare a blanket purchase order with Fer-Marc Equipment Ltd. for the supply of street sweeper broom materials for a one-year term, with two additional optional one-year terms, for a total estimated cost of $300,000 (including taxes); and
    2. That Purchasing Services issue the appropriate purchase order.
