Deputy ​Mayor Donauer introduced the matter and a motion to consider first reading of Bylaw No. 9883 was passed.
 
Darryl Dawson, Development Review Manager, Community Services Division, reviewed the proposed Official Community Plan amendment and expressed the Division's support. 
 
The hearing recessed at 6:14 p.m. and reconvened at 6:18 p.m. with all members of Council in attendance, with the exception of Mayor Clark and Councillors Davies and Hill.
 
Kreg Harley, Chair, Municipal Planning Commission, expressed the Commission's support of the Official Community Plan Amendment. Along with City Manager Jorgenson, General Manager, Community Services Lacroix, and Development Review Manager Dawson, they responded to questions from Council.

General Manager, Transportation and Construction Schmidt reviewed the report and along with Development Review Manager Dawson, responded to questions from Council.

    2. That the City Solicitor be requested to prepare the appropriate agreement and that His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the agreement under the Corporate Seal.
